The
Teaching
Knowledge
Test
Preparation
course
is a
specially
designed
course
to
prepare
candidates
for the
Cambridge
ESOL
Teaching
Knowledge
Test.
Like
the TKT
itself,
the TKT
preparation
course
is
composed
of three
modules,
covering:
-
Language
and
background
to
language
learning
and
teaching
-
Planning
lessons
and
use
of
resources
for
language
teaching
-
Managing
the
teaching
and
learning
process
This
is a
clearly
focused
course,
ideal
for EFL
teachers
who want
a
refresher
course
linked
to a
recognised
qualification.
Specifically
designed
to meet
the
needs of
Greek
teachers
of
English,
the
course is open
to both
native
and
non-native
speakers
of
English,
as long
as you
satisfy
the
Cambridge ESOL
entry
requirements
for the
TKT.
At the
end of
the
course,
trainees
will be
ready to
take the TKT
exam.
Apart
from the
open
courses
run at
our
premises,
we also
run TKT
preparation
courses
for
closed
groups.
If
required,
these
may also
cover
the TKT
Practical,
and any
of the
Specialist
Modules:
-
Knowledge
about
Language
-
Content
and
Language
Integrated
Learning
(CLIL)
-
Young
Learners
Content
of
courses
for
closed
groups
is
tailored
to the
requirements
of the
individual
school,
and
these
courses
are
usually
held at
the
school's
premises.
TKT
preparation
can also
be
incorporated
into a
broader
programme
of
teacher
development
designed
in
consultation
with the
school.
